Khoj Yaan (earlier Khoj Dabba) program is an arts-based tinkering program built on the foundations of maker education principles. The program, on the one hand, is extremely experiential and, on the other hand, deeply reflective.
In Khoj Yaan, several puppet shows are done based on stories from bestseller books. We usually link a theme and concept based on a particular learning objective to each puppet show, and then each puppet show is followed by a session on Toys, Games, Puzzles, and Making based on concepts and themes.

Our focus is to bring out the voice and choice of the students experiencing their power to express and articulate things around them. It is based on the constructionism principles of Seymour Papert in which the learners create mental models to understand the world around them. Further, constructionism holds that learning can happen most effectively when
people are active in making tangible objects in the real world. In this sense, constructionism is connected with experiential learning and builds on Jean Piaget's epistemological theory of constructivism.
