Swa-Ekta is our unity in diversity program. The child is given as much control as is feasible over his or her learning journey. Compulsion is replaced by self- determination, obedience by responsibility thereby creating an environment where children form their own perspectives by interacting with the community at large and not falling into the clutches of society. We would try to bridge the communication gap between children from varied socio-economic-gender groups through such explorations. 

All students are unique individuals  and at Swa-Ekta, they would discover their unique learning paths as individuals in a collective of learners. Learning is an active, social process directed by the students’ and built upon by his or her strengths and interests. An environment is critical for this process and Swatantra Talim provides that environment to children and youth to nurture their unique gifts through Swa-Ekta

PEN PALS: our first campaign under Swa-Ekta

Come join us in reviving the old tradition of letter writing. Our children at our learning centers are eager to write read and reply to your letters. What you simply need to do is write a letter addressing to all the children and introducing yourself to them then anyone who would want to reply to you would write a letter to you and then the journey begins : Pen-pals for a lifetime :) And yes ;) be prepared to receive many letters as our children are very excited to know about you and share their stories.
